For a period now skype users in Ghana are facing challenges in logging into their accounts. It is for this reason that I've spent time to do this tutorial in order to help my friends out there to connect to their friends in order to enable them also connect to their loved ones. So that together we'll all enjoy skype as we used to.

Most IT experts are of the view that this problem is as a result of firewall restrictions. So they propose that you change your firewall permissions in order to fix skype.

But i have a good news for you. Skype can be fixed through HTTPS proxy setting. Kindly follow the steps below:

• In Skype Click Tools >> Click Connection options...to configure your proxy settings.
• Type any port between 1024 and 65535, e.g. 3356 or 4482
• select HTTPS in the drop-down menu that appears in the middle of the connection options.
• In the Host box type the proxy IP address 107.23.180.148 , use proxy port 8080
• Uncheck enable uPnP then click Save.
• Exit Skype :  >> right click on the skype icon and click "Quit"
• Restart skype and enjoy
